You can’t make out much from this photo taken from my phone, but it was raining heavily!

Realizing such weather would ruin a far off visit to a theme park and delay my departure to the airport, I decided not to go and sought to get a refund for my ticket. I bought it from Fiona at the hostel itself, but she hadn’t come in yet. I asked the housekeeper who was Filipino and her reaction went something along the lines of this: “You want a refund? Ha! Hong Kong 2012: Tai O fishing village

Date: 4th July, 2012

After boarding the bus from Ngong Ping village, I made my way to Tai O village (HK$6.60 one way).

Hong Kong 2012: Ngong Ping 360 cable car, Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery

Date: 4th July 2012

My last full day in Hong Kong, and I chose to spend it all on Lantau island. I took the MTR from Mong Kok -> Lai King -> to get to Ngong Ping.
