There have been 2-piece boy bands (Bros.), 3-piece boy bands (911), 4-piece boy bands (98 Degrees) and 5-piece boy bands (*N Sync, Backstreet Boys, etc.) — but a 13-piece boy band?!
It’s a catchy song, but still — 13 guys! And they all get a chance at vocals! Nicole Schezwhateverherlastname wouldn’t even allow that in the 5-piece Pussycat Dolls!
Super Junior also has “spin-off” groups: Super Junior M (‘M’ meaning Mandarin) & Super Junior-Happy. Wow, talk about manufactured.

18/08/2010I think I officially love your articles! The “Nicole Schezwhateverherlastname” part makes me laugh! You’re right though–she sings, like, all the parts in the PCD songs. The group should be called “The Nicole Schezwhateverherlastname Group” (shortened to TNSG or something because no one can say/spell her name)! XD
And you forgot to mention SuJu K.R.Y. (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung sing ballads) and SuJu T (T=trot, or classic/old music members: Heechul, Eeteuk, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, and Kangin). 🙂

Yeah, the new PCD is just Nicole along with a bunch of new girls (one of whom is the awesome Rino Nakasone).
Thanks, didn’t know there were two more sub-groups out of Super Junior!
