One of Bangkok's most iconic Buddhist temples, Wat

One of Bangkok's most iconic Buddhist temples, Wat Arun is said to be more than 150 years old. Situated on the banks of Chao Praya River, Wat Arun lights up after the sun goes down, making it a very popular spot to watch the sunset in BKK.

To get there by metro, take the MRT to Sanam Chai station -- quite possibly the best-looking metro station in all of Bangkok! Sanam Chai is also the station to get down at if you wish to visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho attractions

Wat Saket and the Golden Mount is a famous temple perched atop an 80 foot hill. I had not seen it yet and that gave me a reason to finally try Bangkok's canal boat service. What do you do when most chain pizza is overpriced despite skimping on toppings nowadays? Learn to make your own at home. My younger brother @nirupd has gotten really good at making the dough. Sunday night dinner was a ham + olive and a paneer + veggies pizza affair. I made battered chicken strips as well... but forgot to take a photo. That was yum too. (Okay, going to gym now)

When my mother spotted this first, she thought it was a dried up leaf or flower that was hanging on one of our plants... until it moved. Upon closer inspection, I realised it's a praying mantis of sorts...and it was hanging upside down! Google sir said it's a Dead Leaf Mantis or Dry Leaf Mantis -- for obvious reasons.
